Watercolour painting is the practice of applying water plus pigment into a surface, usually watercolour paper. The pigment/paint is commonly applied with a brush. It can be a great fun and an enjoyable experience. It’s a very relaxing and a satisfying process, where you can see yourself getting better and better with time by practicing a bit every day. Our short tutorials aim to inspiring and motivating you to create your own art pieces.

To start you will not need a lot of materials. Lets begin with:
- 3 round brusher (Large,Medium,small).
- 2 flat brushes
- Watercolour paper: cold press 100% cotton with 300gm
- Professional grade paint of any brand.
- painting palette: porcelain/Ceramic or paint palette aluminium with white coating
- masking tape
- Recipient for water
- cloth to dry the brush
- Good quality line pen
- Good quality watercolour paint
Use a transfer paper or carbon paper or pencil graphite technique to transfer your illustration into your watercolour paper. Download the template here.

1-Get your sketched paper ready. 2- using your brush, apply water all around the flowers. 3-time to add some yellow on to of the wet area. 4- add some green at random areas on top of the yellow. 5-let dry of use the hair dryer. 6-outline each petal with strong pink and add some water on top spreading into the all petal. 7- keep going until all of them are done. 8- time to add some purple or blue to the middle and at some areas of each petal as you can see in the image.
9-keep going all around. 10-until all the thee flowers are done. 11- add one extra small flower. 12/13- time to use your green to paint the stem. 14- let dry or use the hair dryer. 15/16- using some white gouache, add some dots and lines to the middle of each flower. 17/18-let dry or use the hair dryer. Well done!
